Find the Pattern

Here's one with a little more challenge.

Given the following sequence of integers, identify the pattern in the sequence and how it should continue:

3, 3, 5, 4, 4, 3, 5, 5, 4, 3, 6, 6, 8, 8...

It's been a week with no response. The correct answer is that this the number of letters in each whole number as it is spelled out.

1 = one = 3
2 = two = 3
3 = three = 5
4 = four = 4

etc.

So the next number in the series would be:

7
